Edgardo G. Lacson

Chariman of the Board

Mr. Lacson is an Independent Director of Puregold Price Club, Inc. and Global Ferronickel Holdings, Inc. and a director of other companies. He is also currently the President of MIS Maritime Corporation, and the Chariman of Safe Seas Shipping Agency and Metrostores, Inc. He is a Trustee of De La Salle University, Home Development Mutual Fund, ADR Institute Stratbase, and the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation. He is also a Trustee, Past President and Honorary Chairman of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting, from the De La Salle College.

Daniel C. Subido

President & CEO / Director

Atty. Daniel C. Subido has been in the practice of law for more than two decades. He is a senior partner in the Subido Pagente Certeza Mendoza & Binay Law Offices. He is a board member and Chief Legal Counsel of Qmunity Inc., the local partner of Canvas8 based in London, England. He specializes in Banking, Finance, Corporate Law and Litigation. He has extensive experience in investment banking, trust realty, finance, mining investment and Public-Private Partnership transactions. He is currently part of the Advanced Finance Program of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He was the Chief Legal Counsel of the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines in 2010-2015. He was the Deputy Secretary General of the Housing & Urban Development Coordinating Council of the Philippines in 2010-2015. He was a Professor of Law in 2008 to 2010. He was the Chief Legal Counsel of Multinational Investment Bancorporation, one of the oldest investment houses in the Philippines, in 2001 to 2010.

Ferdinand T. Diaz

Treasurer & Director

Ferdinand T. Diaz currently serves as the President of Metrostores, Inc, and Green Fort Chemical Corporation. He is also the Vice Chairman Of MIS Maritime Corporation and a Director of Sale Seas ( Jetty Operations). He holds a Master of Philosophy in Urban Design and Regional Planning ( Economics) from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University.

Martin C. Subido

Director

Atty. Subido is currently a director of Sunchamp Real Estate Development Corp., Total Waste Management Recovery System Inc., Winsun Green Ventures Inc., Lite Speed Technologies Inc., and AgriNurture Development Holdings Inc., among others.

Atty. Subido is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from De La Salle University Manila and obtained his Juris Doctor Degree, with honors, from the School of Law of the Ateneo de Manila University. He was a Senior Associate at the Villaraza & Angangco Law Offices before founding SPCMB Law Offices. Atty. Subido is currently a Senior Partner at SPCMB Law Offices.

Stephen Cuunjieng

Independent Director

Mr. Stephen Anthony T. Cuunjieng (“Mr. Cuunjieng”) is currently an independent director in various publicly-listed companies in the Philippines. He has over thirty (30)-year career in investment banking including serving as the Chairman if Evercore Asia Ltd. and as a Senior Managing Director of a New York-based firm. Prior to serving as Chairman of Evercore Asia Ltd. , he was also the Vice Chairman – ASEAN for Macquarie Capital Asia and a Senior Managing Director of the said company. He also held Managing Director or Director level positions at Merrill Lynch, Solomon Brothers and Morgan Grenfell.

Mr. Cuunjieng obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree and Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Director of the School’s Executive Advisory Board for Asia. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the New York Philharmonic.

Sec. Leonor M. Briones

Independent Director

Leonor M. Briones (Independent Director)* is a Professor Emeritus of the National Collage of Public Administration and Governance of the University of the Philippines. She previously served as the Secretary of Education from 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2022, leading the reformation of the education system through various programs and initiatives. Prof. Briones was also the Treasurer of the Philippines’ Bureau of the Treasury from August 1990 to February 2001 and was concurrently the Presidential Adviser for Social Development with Cabinet Rank, Office of the President. Prof. Briones has received numerous awards in recognition of her sterling performance as a public official. Recently, she received the prestigious Lifetime Contributor Award for the Public Sector at the 12th Asia CEO Awards.

Who is Greenergy Holdings, Inc.

GREENERGY HOLDINGS INCORPORATED (GREEN)

Greenergy Holdings Incorporated (GREEN) is a publicly-listed holding company and was registered in 1992 with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) per Registration No. ASO92-00589. Through time, the Company has evolved into a holding company with investments into Food and Agriculture, Fintech, Biotech, Green Infrastructure projects, Renewable Energy, and etc.

Exploring Possibilities with Renewable Energy

In 2011, the Company agreed to the establishment of a US$1.3 Billion Dollars joint venture project with Chinese firm, Tianjin Tianbao Investment and Development Corporation, to engage in wind energy projects amounting to US$ 200 Million Dollars, as priority, and other subsequent renewable energy projects such as, but not limited to, bio-mass, solar, hydro and geothermal energy. The Company has also agreed to acquire 51% of Total Waste Management Recovery System, Inc., a domestic corporation engaged in the business of building, operating and managing waste recovery facilities and waste management systems within the Philippines.

In 2012, the Company established certain subsidiaries to further mark its venture into the field of renewable energy. These subsidiaries are the wholly-owned Winsun Green Ventures, Inc. and the 60%-owned Biomass Holdings, Inc. The latter is the product of the Company’s partnership with Cleantech Projektgesellschaft mbH, a German fund managed by the ThomasLloyd Global Asset Management (Switzerland) AG of Zurich. It serves as the joint venture vehicle of the parties in their investment transactions in the biomass power plant of San Carlos BioPower, Inc. in Negros.

The Company likewise entered into a preliminary agreement with Dutch enterprise Hydroring Capital BV for the establishment of a joint venture vehicle aimed to promote the development, operation and management of multiple hydropower projects, infrastructures and/or facilities in the Philippines using the “Hydroring”-concept, with the aim of providing affordable access to environmentally friendly and sustainable sources of renewable energy. Hydroring Capital BV is known for having developed a hydropower concept based on a portfolio of proprietary turbine innovations with a variety of added value components.

Diversification in Green Ventures and Sustainable Projects

Pursuant to the new direction of the Company which is to widen and diversify its investment portfolio as a holding company, the Company plans to make investments and acquisitions that will include or involve companies or assets relating to the businesses of the Company’s President and CEO, Mr. Antonio L. Tiu. Among the businesses already invested and/or being considered for acquisition or investment are those in the areas of food and agriculture, banking and finance, real estate development and construction, renewable energy, technology, bio technology, and green infrastructure projects.

The foregoing will materially widen and diversify the investment portfolio leading to significant growth and enhancement of shareholders’ value without sacrificing our environment.
